Welcome to our 'First Glance' blog segment. We could try to list all what we’ve got waiting for you in our showroom but with that many pieces, that might be pretty close to impossible. So instead, we’ve created this periodical blog section just to give you an idea of what we have to offer and hopefully you’ll get a good glimpse of the breadth and depth of our selection. We look forward to your enquiries.
From home hardware and accessories to lighting, turn around and you will find golden hues anywhere these days. These are just a few of our favorite picks. Enjoy!

VASE PAR005
We can't stop admiring the following object: one exquisite antique cut crystal vase with magnificent gilt ormolu as decoration. The mix of this fabulous cut crystal pattern and the gleaming gilt ormolu is wonderful. We have our strong beliefs that this piece might as well have been produced by Baccarat and dates from the Napoleon III era. (1808-1873) . A glamorous piece to have! Height 20cm. Condition : 1

TRAY MA005
One enticing antique bronze gilded, filigree rimmed and footed mirror tray so elegantly made, that we were long debating whether to put it up for sale. In a lovely antique condition with traces of patina. We see it being used as an elegant way of displaying all of your perfume scent bottles or those lovely old decanters you might want to showcase. Of course, using it as originally intended for, i.e. a serving plate or a table centre piece, will have your friends gasping in admiration when they come for dinner. Ca. 1890, Diameter 35cms. Condition : 2

CANDLE HOLDER FM021
This sturdy bronze candlestick is a stellar example of restrained elegance. It features fine acanthus plant motifs and a smooth body which sits on a red marble plinth, which in turn rests on a delightfully sculpted, scalloped bronze base. Ca. 1880. Dimensions (cm): Height 23.Condition : 1
Patine Curator's Note: The Mediterranean acanthus spinosus plant is one of the most commonly used ornaments for depicting folliage. Architectural ornaments in the shape of leaves from this plant are carved in stone, wood or metals. Acanthus leaf ornamentation is also used in furniture, particularly in borders.

ANTIQUE FRAMES FD011
This is a charming pair of early 19th century brass frames with original glass intact. The double gilded frames are topped with elegant ribbon designs and have fabric backing. One frame shows some traces of humidity on the fabric. Nonetheless, the pair make for timelessly elegant portrait displays. Ca. 1830. Dimensions (cm): Length 13, Height 14 .Condition: 2
