Scale Mid 19th Century FM020
This is an extremely old (wet) market scale of Dutch origin. Obviously, it is that old that it is not longer in working condtion. We believe the body might have been made out of 'babbitt' metal but we can't be sure. It is indeed very decorative and we easily foresee this unequaled object looking lovely on the kitchen counter as an added antique accent or just simply over some old stacked books on the side table. A conversation piece for sure ! Ca. 1840 -1850, Height 30cms. Condition: 3 Patine Curator's Note: Babbitt metal is so called a 'white metal' which was used in the second half of the nineteenth century or a little before. It used to be covered with a bronze tint or sometimes another color. Relatively cheap at the time, craftsmen produced ornamental carvings, clocks and other objects with this metal to make them look like bronze, though they were not. Interestingly, it was often so called "bronze of the poor".

Tea for Two CTA006
This is a beautiful, bone china 'Tea for Two' set from Collingwood Bros., England made for B. Altman & Co in New York. Lustrous combination of white, rich pink and accents of gold are to be found on this exquisite set of a dessert plate, saucer and cup, which bears equally beautifully shaped handles. The whole set is just exquisite. It’s in wonderful condition and would make for a perfect gift for either yourself or best friends who enjoy tea in the mornings with a touch of luxury. Stamped and marked. Circa 1924-1930. Condition : 1 Patine Curator's Note: Collingwood Bros, Longton, England, was in business from 1887 until 1957. It was formerly known as Collingwood and Greatbach (1870 – 1887), and thereafter as Collingwood China Ltd (1948 – 1957). In 1957 it was rolled into Clayton Bone China.

Scoop Silver Plated FM015
This is an enchanting object : a superb silver plated antique scoop featuring lovely floral and foliage decorations pressed in relief. In the early days, when it was common for tablecloths to be used for every evening meal, "Silent Butlers" (as they were often called) were used originally to brush or scrape crumbs off the table after dinner. Most every distinguished home had one. As well as utilitarian - this delightful object could be used as a lovely letter dropping tray sitting on your entry hall console - it certainly makes for a conversation piece too. Without doubt, it would be considered as an attractive and unusual gift. Some minor losses to the silver plate but in our opinion, it renders this object even more appealling this way. Ca. 1880; Length 20cms, depth 22cms. Condition : 2

Nachtmann Decanter RL002
This is a strikingly beautiful and rare decanter, as it is not often that we come across a piece of such vibrant color. It is unsigned, but we are certain it is Czechoslovakia Bohemian crystal, presumably made by Nachtmann Bleikristallwerke Gmbh, a company founded in 1834 which has since built a strong reputation as a specialist in crystal glassware. Their high quality decorative glasses, plates, bowls and tabletop accessories are sought after by the style-conscious across the world. Dimensions (cm): Height 30. Condtion: 1
